The Health Services Branch Directorate, operating under the Istanbul Technical University Department of Health, Culture and Sports, provides primary healthcare services to ITU students, academic staff, administrative personnel (subject to Law No. 657), their dependents, and retirees.

Ayazağa Health Services Branch

Primary diagnostic and treatment services are provided at our Ayazağa Medico-Social Center on weekdays between 08:00 and 16:45.

In emergency cases, after initial intervention, patients are referred to nearby hospitals via the 112 Emergeny Ambulance, under the physician's supervision.

The center is staffed by 3 Physicians, 2 Dentists, 1 Radiologist, 1 Specialist Nurse, 3 Nurses, 1 Laboratory Technician, 1 Laboratory Tehnologist, 3 Paramedics, 2 Radiology Technicians, 1 Health Technician, 1 Office Clerk, 2 Patient Registration Officers, 2 Cleaning Staff.

In our Center’s laboratory, the following examinations are conducted: Complete Blood Count, Sedimentation, Biochemical Analyses (Albumin, Total Protein, Globulin, ALP, GGT, ALT, AST, Total Bilirubin, Uric Acid, Urea, Creatinine, eGFR, Amylase, Glucose, Cholesterol, Triglyceride, HDL, and LDL), CRP, Troponin, TSH, HbA1c, Vitamin D, D-Dimer, CK-MB, Influenza, COVID-19, RSV, Adenovirus Antigen, Strep-A, Fasting Blood Glucose, Postprandial Blood Glucose, and Complete Urinalysis (CUA).

In addition, our Center provides services such as ECG recording, wound dressing, suture removal, intravenous infusion, injection, as well as measurement of body temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.

Maçka Health Services Branch

Primary diagnostic and treatment services are provided at our Maçka Medico-Social Center on weekdays between 08:00 and 16:45.

The center is staffed by 1 Physician, 1 Dentist, 2 Nurses, 1 Dental Assistant, 1 Registration Clerk, 1 Cleaning Staff.

In the obsevation room, the following services are provided temperature and blood pressure monitoring, wound care and ECG.
