WHO CAN WORK PART-TIME? Students enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate program at our university can work part-time. HOW MUCH INCOME CAN I EARN? Students earn income equivalent to the hourly rate of the minimum wage determined annually for each hour of work. The calculation is done using the formula: Minimum Wage for the Relevant Period / 30 Days / 7.5 = Gross Hourly Wage to be Paid. Considering the students' course load and social activities, the monthly working hours are limited to 60 hours. DOES MY EMPLOYMENT ELIMINATE THE BENEFITS I RECEIVE FROM MY FAMILY? Students do not lose their scholarships, allowances, or other benefits provided by their families due to the income they earn. WHERE CAN I WORK AND HOW CAN I APPLY FOR A JOB? Students who want to work part-time within our university need to apply to the department or unit where they want to work. Our university provides job opportunities for students in all academic units, research and development centers, libraries, and information technology centers. Additionally, the job requests from our units are announced to students through the website www.yarizamanli.itu.edu.tr. |
